EUGENE, Ore. (AP) — Oregon head coach Dana Altman has received a three-year contract extension that will keep him in charge of the Ducks through the 2019-20 season.

The Ducks finished 28-9 while advancing to the Sweet 16 in the NCAA tournament last season. Altman was named the Pac-12 coach of the year.

In Altman’s fourth season as coach, Oregon is currently 4-0 and ranked No. 14.

The Ducks have steadily improved in each of Altman’s past three seasons. Oregon finished 21-18 and won the postseason CBI tournament his first year, then finished 24-10 and went on to the quarterfinals of the NIT.

The climb continued with last year’s run in the NCAA tournament.
