Nominations open for 2014 Iris Awards

Nominations are being accepted for the 2014 Iris Awards, honoring women of achievement in Southwest Washington. Three Iris Awards may be presented annually for service in the public sector, service in the private sector and philanthropic leadership.

The Iris Awards will be presented in observation of International Women’s Day on March 8.

Anyone may submit a nomination. Additionally, more than one person can fill out a nomination form for the same nominee or provide letters of recommendation.

Award criteria and nomination forms are available at www.clark.edu/cc/irisawards. Nominations are due by Dec. 13. View a list of past award recipients at http://www.clark.edu/news_center/awards/IrisAwardhonoreeshistoric.php.

Award recipients will be honored at a March 13 ceremony at Clark College. Tickets will go on sale in January.

The Iris Awards are presented by Clark College, the Clark College Foundation, the Vancouver Business Journal and the Greater Vancouver Chamber of Commerce.
