OSTERSUND, Sweden (AP) — Defending overall champion Martin Fourcade of France won the men’s 10-kilometer sprint Saturday for his second biathlon World Cup victory of the season.

Fourcade missed one target to finish in 25 minutes, 56 seconds in light snowfall in northern Sweden. Fredrik Lindstrom of Sweden shot cleanly but finished 6.5 seconds behind in second place, while Tim Burke of the United States was 31.3 seconds behind in third.

The Frenchman leads the overall standing with 120 points, followed by Simon Eder of Austria, who finished eight Saturday, on 88 points.

Fourcade also won a 20K individual race this week at the season-opening meet.
