Search efforts continue today for a Portland man who has been missing in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest since Saturday.

Kristopher Zitzewitz, 31, of Portland was reported missing after he got separated from his partner in the Big Lava Beds area, about 10 miles north of Cook. The search is based out of the Goose Lake Campgrounds.

The agency is also working to locate Alejandra Wilson, reported overdue while hiking between Trout Lake and White Pass on the Pacific Crest Trail. They are being assisted by searchers from Lewis County.
