LAWRENCE, Kan. (AP) — Kansas coach Charlie Weis knows exactly how long it will have been since the Jayhawks last won a Big 12 game when they face No. 20 Texas Tech on Saturday.

He made sure to remind his team this week.

Weis rattled off the fact that it will have been 1,063 days since Kansas won a game against a Big 12 opponent. The Jayhawks have lost 21 straight dating to a win over Colorado, a program that is no longer in the conference.

The Jayhawks improved to 2-1 after a win against Louisiana Tech. They’ll be going against a Red Raiders team led by new coach Kliff Kingsbury that is off to a 4-0 start.
