LORMAN, Miss. (AP) — Arnold Walker rushed for 111 yards and two touchdowns while helping drive Alcorn State to a 57-0 blowout over Warner in a Southwestern Athletic Conference game Saturday.

Walker got plenty of help as the Braves (4-2, 2-1) racked up 589 total yards of offense while holding Warner (0-4) to just 19 yards passing and 46 yards rushing. It was the first time the two teams had met.

John Gibbs passed for 188 yards and two touchdowns — a 28-yard pass to Jordan Payne followed by a 9-yarder to Tavoris Doss. Also throwing touchdown passes were Zerick Rollins, who found Felando Warr for a 57-yard score, and T.J. Menning, who found Payne. CJ Morgan ran an interception 50 yards for a touchdown, the defense scored a team safety in the third quarter and Haiden McCraney kicked a 30-yard field goal.

Jamari Walker was Warner’s leading rusher with 45 yards.
