JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) — The Jacksonville Jaguars have activated receiver Justin Blackmon from the reserve/suspended list and waived guard Jacques McClendon.

Blackmon did not count against the team’s 53-man roster while he was suspended the first four games for violating the league’s substance-abuse policy. The Jaguars made the moves Saturday.

Blackmon had 64 receptions for 865 yards last season and averaged 13.5 yards a catch — all franchise rookie records. His five receiving touchdowns tied the club’s rookie record. He started 15 games and ended the season with at least five catches in six of the last seven games.

The Jaguars (0-4) have been banged up all season at receiver, with Stephen Burton (concussion) and Mike Brown (back) missing multiple games. Tight end Marcedes Lewis (calf) has missed most of the season, too.
