SPARTANBURG, S.C. (AP) — Donovan Johnson logged 98 yards rushing and a score to lead a balanced Wofford ground attack that amassed 411 total rushing yards in a commanding 55-14 win over visiting Presbyterian on Saturday.

Six rushers scored for the Terriers (3-2, 2-0 Southern Conference) in Wofford’s fifth-consecutive win in the series against Presbyterian (1-4).

After Wofford opened a 14-0 lead, Kaleb Griffin’s 9-yard touchdown pass to Joey Gilkey brought the Blue Hose within a touchdown but the Terriers responded with six unanswered TDs.

No Wofford rusher scored more than once, but four Terriers rushed for at least 70 yards to provide Wofford with a balanced run game.

The Terriers intercepted Presbyterian three times, and held the Blue Hose to just 187 yards of total offense. Wofford’s Hunter Thurley returned one of the three interceptions 36 yards for a touchdown.

Blake Roberts had 50 yards rushing and one touchdown to lead Presbyterian.
