Letter: Return Rasmussen to fire post

The Columbian
Published: October 9, 2013, 5:00pm

The East County Volunteer Firefighters Association urges taxpayers in ECFR to retain Commissioner Vic Rasmussen for Position 2. He is a lifelong local with three decades of experience serving to keep residents safe and protected by their fire district. Commissioner Rasmussen assisted with the construction of the new Fern Prairie Station, addition of bunking areas at the Sunnyside Station, and opening of the new Bear Prairie Station, all without raising taxes even through the economic downturn.

Rasmussen knows the area, the people, and how to get things done to protect your interests. Vote for experience and a track record of success. Vote Rasmussen.
