Camryn Kate wins Santa Anita feature by a neck

ARCADIA, Calif. (AP) — Camryn Kate rallied to win the $54,000 feature at Santa Anita on Friday, beating Miss Lucky Sevens by a neck.

Ridden by Corey Nakatani, Camryn Kate ran 612 furlongs on the downhill turf course in 1:11.48 and paid $20, $8.20 and $3.80 at 9-1 odds in the field of nine.

Miss Lucky Sevens returned $8.60 and $4.80, while 4-5 favorite Blues and Silvers was another 114 lengths back in third and paid $2.40 to show.

The victory, worth $32,400, increased Camryn Kate’s career earnings to $132,630, with three wins in nine starts.
