JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) — Jacksonville Jaguars receiver Cecil Shorts III has returned to practice and is expected to play Sunday at Denver.

Shorts was limited in practice Wednesday and sat out as a precaution Thursday because of a groin injury. But he was full go Friday, and coach Gus Bradley says he will start against the heavily favored Broncos.

Shorts leads the Jaguars (0-5) with 31 catches for 411 yards and a touchdown. He ranks sixth in the AFC in receptions.

The Jaguars ruled out quarterback Blaine Gabbert (hamstring), tight end Marcedes Lewis (calf), cornerback Dwayne Gratz (ankle), receiver Stephen Burton (concussion) and defensive end Jeremy Mincey (concussion). Lewis did some work Friday and hopes to be ready for next week’s game against San Diego.
