EVERETT — A 14-year-old girl who was hit by a car after a collision at an Everett intersection has died of her injuries.

Police confirmed Friday she had died at a Seattle hospital.

She was walking on a sidewalk Thursday afternoon when one of the cars involved in the collision knocked her over.

Police spokesman Aaron Snell said an SUV driven by a 16-year-old Lynnwood boy was making a left turn when it hit the other car in the intersection. The 16-year-old was not hurt. The 48-year-old woman driving the other car was checked at a hospital.
