CLEVELAND (AP) — Lions star wide receiver Calvin Johnson is active and expected to play against the Browns after missing one game with an injured right knee.

Johnson sat out last week’s game against Green Bay and Detroit quarterback Matthew Stafford and his offense struggled in a 22-9 loss. Johnson missed one day of practice and was limited on Thursday and Friday, but after testing his knee during pregame warmups, the 6-foot-5, 236-pounder was cleared to go.

Johnson has 21 catches for 312 yards this season and leads the Lions with four touchdowns receiving.

Browns starting linebacker Jabaal Sheard is inactive for the third straight week with a sprained left knee. With Sheard out, rookie Barkevious Mingo will make his third start in a row.

Cleveland will have linebacker Quentin Groves back after he missed three games with a sprained ankle.
