Lunch event focuses on breast cancer

Touchmark at Fairway Village is offering a Lunch & Learn event in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Gail Weeks, the oncology nurse coordinator at PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center, will share insights about breast cancer during the lunchtime event. She will also talk about the risk factors and mammography.

The Lunch & Learn event begins at 11:30 a.m. Oct. 30 at Touchmark, 2911 S.E. Village Loop. The event is free but reservations are required. To reserve a spot, call 360-254-2866 by Oct. 25.

Donations will be accepted for Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
