FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (AP) — New York Jets rookie cornerback Dee Milliner returned to practice on a limited basis for the first time since injuring a hamstring in practice three weeks ago.

Milliner, the No. 9 overall pick in April, has missed three straight games but there’s a chance he could return against New England if the injury continues to improve.

Cornerback Kyle Wilson’s status is uncertain as he recovers from a concussion suffered against Pittsburgh last Sunday. He and wide receivers Santonio Holmes (foot, hamstring) and Greg Salas (knee) did not participate in practice.

Salas was signed off the Eagles’ practice squad Tuesday despite the Jets knowing he was dealing with an injury that Rex Ryan said could sideline him “a couple of weeks.”

Wide receiver David Nelson was limited with a sore hamstring.
