Suspect, 19, in fatal Tacoma shooting surrenders

TACOMA — A 19-year-old suspect in a fatal shooting in Tacoma Friday turned himself into police Monday and was jailed on suspicion of manslaughter.

The News Tribune reports 17-year-old Jalon Bea was shot while standing with a group of people at an intersection.

Friends plan a rally to celebrate his life Tuesday evening at Lincoln Park in Tacoma.
