Arts magazine wins print award for WSUV

Salmon Creek — The 2013 edition of the annual literary and arts journal published by Washington State University Vancouver has won first place in the student category of the Pacific Printing Industries’ “Print ROCKS!” award. The award recognizes excellence in design, production and manufacturing of print materials on the West Coast. Students involved in creating the 2013 edition include Isabela J. Oliveira, editor in chief; Kerry Layne Jeffrey, prose editor; Kimberly Lawrence, visual arts editor; Janae Green, poetry editor; Kyle C. Schaeffer, design and layout; and Cambri Shanahan, marketing. Assistant professor David Menchaca is the faculty advisor.
