PULLMAN — Officials at Washington State University’s veterinary college say an 11-foot-long python rescued from a vacant home in Colfax, Wash., has died.
KREM-TV reports that vet school officials say the snake found Oct. 9 was dehydrated and suffered from a systemic ailment. Its muscles were also deteriorating.
A landlord found the snake curled around a heater in the home.
The snake died Oct. 12.
