ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) — Buffalo Bills running back C.J. Spiller and linebacker Manny Lawson are doubtful for Sunday’s game against the New Orleans Saints.

Spiller has attempted to play through his ankle injury in recent weeks but has been limited on the field. In the past three games, Spiller has 24 carries for 132 yards and one touchdown. He suffered the injury in Week 4 against Baltimore.

Lawson aggravated a hamstring injury in Buffalo’s win over Miami on Sunday and had a setback during the week. He’s recorded 40 tackles, one sack and one forced fumble through seven games.

Neither player practiced on Friday.

With Spiller unlikely to play, the Bills promoted Ronnie Wingo from the practice squad to the active roster and released cornerback Brandon Burton.
