UPDATE: Charges were not filed in this case.

A Camas woman was arrested after she stabbed her husband during a domestic violence dispute, according to the Clark County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies were called to 4008 N.E. 292nd Ave. at 1:36 a.m. Friday for a reported disturbance between a wife and husband, Sgt. Fred Neiman said.

When they arrived, they found the man had a stab wound to the chest. He was sent to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center with injuries Neiman described as not being life-threatening.

Mari Helen Malychewski, 47, was arrested on suspicion of second-degree domestic violence assault.

The incident remains under investigation, Neiman said.
