CHICAGO (AP) — The Chicago Blackhawks will visit President Barack Obama at the White House on Monday to celebrate their second Stanley Cup title in four seasons.

The Blackhawks will begin the day with a visit to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center to spend time with wounded soldiers and thank them for their service.

The Blackhawks beat the Boston Bruins in six games in June to secure their fifth NHL title in franchise history.
