SEATTLE — Seattle police say they don’t discriminate among speeders.

They hand out tickets to bicycle riders as well as vehicle drivers.

The Seattle Times reports several bicyclists were caught Tuesday exceeding the 20 mph limit on a downhill slope next to B.F. Day Elementary School.

Bicycle riders do get a break on the ticket. It’s a $103 fine compared to a $189 citation for vehicles speeding in a school zone.
