NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — The Tennessee Titans have placed center Rob Turner on injured reserve because of a shoulder injury and signed veteran offensive lineman Pat McQuistan to take his place on the roster.

The Titans announced the moves Wednesday.

Turner started the first six games at center before being replaced by rookie Brian Schwenke. The 6-foot-6, 338-pound McQuistan was with the Titans for part of training camp in 2011, and he has played in 72 games with 11 starts over seven seasons.

The Titans also added guard Oscar Johnson and defensive lineman Chigbo Anunoby (ch-BOO Ann-u-noby) to the practice squad. They waived receiver Rashad Ross, while defensive tackle Stefan Charles signed with Buffalo.
