EUGENE, Ore. — An Oregon state trooper who was ejected from Autzen Stadium in a dispute with other football fans has been placed on administrative leave for a personnel investigation.

Lt. Gregg Hastings says Marc Boyd is under investigation for possible misconduct when he was off duty at the Oct. 19 game between Oregon and Washington State.

The Register-Guard reports that Boyd was ousted for becoming disorderly.

Boyd has not been charged with any crime. He works as a fish and wildlife officer assigned to OSP’s Springfield office.
