DETROIT (AP) — The Detroit Tigers have expanded their roster by purchasing the contract of outfielder Nick Castellanos from Triple-A Toledo and recalling right-hander Evan Reed and infielder Danny Worth from the Mud Hens.

Detroit recalled the injury rehabilitation assignment for right-hander Octavio Dotel on Sunday and expect a forearm ailment will keep him out for the rest of the season. The Tigers also transferred right-hander Luis Marte on the 60-day disabled list from the 15-day DL because of a shoulder injury.

Tigers manager Jim Leyland says right-hander Luke Putkonen will be called up Monday. The AL Central leaders plan to add right-hander Jeremy Bonderman, left-hander Jose Alvarez and catcher Bryan Holaday to the roster on Tuesday.
