Free screenings for preschoolers available

Free developmental screenings are available for children ages 3 to 5 who are living in the boundaries of Vancouver Public Schools.

Parents should call the Early Childhood Evaluation Center, 360-313-4853, for a prescreening interview if they believe their child’s development might be delayed in vision, hearing, eye-hand coordination, large motor skills, or language or cognitive skills.

Results are confidential and are shared with parents or guardians.

Families living in temporary situations may contact the school district in which they are living to arrange a screening.
