JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) — The Kansas City Chiefs will be without starting right guard Jon Asamoah in the season opener at Jacksonville.

Asamoah is one of the team’s seven inactives announced before Sunday’s game. Geoff Schwartz will start in place of Asamoah, who was listed as questionable Friday.

Quarterback Tyler Bray, receiver Chad Hall, safety Bradley McDougald, linebacker Nico Johnson, linebacker Josh Martin and defensive lineman Allen Bailey also are inactive. Johnson was ruled out Friday because of an ankle injury.

The Jaguars have made quarterback Ricky Stanzi, safety Winston Guy, guard Jacques McClendon, offensive tackle Cam Bradfield, tight end Marcedes Lewis, defensive tackle Abry Jones and defensive end Chris McCoy inactive for the opener. Lewis was ruled out Friday because of a calf injury.
