Fruit Valley — The Clark County Children’s Sharing Project gathered nearly $5,000 in backpacks and supplies in late summer, enough to benefit more than 375 county kids heading into the school year. Kris Henriksen from the county’s Department of Community Services worked with the Children’s Sharing Project to coordinate the donation drive, which gave supplies to the Fruit Valley Resource Center, Community Services and Columbia River Mental Health’s Options Program.
