Emergency response training offered

Clark County Fire District 6 is inviting community members to enroll in its spring Community Emergency Response Team training course.

The 20-plus-hour program is designed to prepare citizens for a localized disaster.

Registration for the class costs $30 and closes on Sept. 20, with classes beginning Sept. 26. Participants receive a hard hat, vest, gloves and protective eyewear. Participants must be 18 and older and preference will be given to Fire District 6 residents until Sunday.
