SEATTLE (AP) — A former manager has pleaded guilty to embezzling at least $120,000 and perhaps as much as $400,000 from the Lake Forest Park water district north of Seattle.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office says Jackee Bormann-Zweekhorst, 41, entered the plea Wednesday in federal court to a charge of wire fraud. She acknowledged using a variety of schemes to steal the money between 2004 and 2011, including falsifying time cards so that her children were paid for work they never performed for the water district.

Prosecutors said she also used the water district credit card for personal items, including hot tub parts, boating and automotive equipment, and rental car expenses.
