GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) — Keith Yandle and Jordan Szwarz scored short-handed goals to lead a Phoenix Coyotes split squad to a 4-2 preseason victory over a Los Angeles Kings split squad on Sunday night.

The Coyotes completed a sweep of the Kings in the pair of split-squad matchups after earning a 5-1 victory earlier Sunday in Los Angeles.

With Phoenix leading 3-2 early in the third period, Yandle converted a tic-tac-toe passing play from Martin Hanzal and Max Domi at 5:03.

Szwarz cut the Coyotes’ deficit to 2-1 when he scored a power-play goal. Mikkel Boedker tied it with a 5-on-3 goal at 1:09 of the second.

Coyotes captain Shane Doan made it 3-2 with a two-man advantage goal with 2:02 left in the second.

Brandon Kozun assisted on Tanner Pearson’s goal on the Kings’ first shot 51 seconds in and then beat goalie Mike Smith with a wrist shot at 2:39.
