An open house at Clark County’s Public Safety Complex will be held from noon and 4 p.m. Saturday.

The event allows the public to meet local firefighters and law enforcement officers and to get insight into their duties. Auto extrication demonstrations are scheduled for 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. and a canine demonstration is set for 2 p.m. Life Flight is scheduled to arrive at the event at 1 p.m.

The free event will be at the Clark County Fairgrounds, 303 N.W. 179th St. in Ridgefield.

Emergency vehicles will be on display and children are invited to participate in a junior firefighter challenge and to play in a bounce house.

Other services such as health screenings and child identification and fingerprinting will be available.
