Body recovered from Willamette River

The body of an adult man was found by fishermen this morning in the Willamette River near Zidell Marine, according to the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office.

The body was discovered about 7:30 a.m. today. River patrol deputies and a unit from the Portland Fire Bureau recovered the body from the river.

The body was turned over to the Multnomah County Medical Examiner’s Office, which will work to identify the man and determine a cause of death.
