Businesses in historic downtown Camas are hosting the annual Girls Night Out! event this month.

The event is from 4 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28 and begins on Northeast Fourth Avenue, across the street from the Camas Public Library. Admission to the event is $20.

The fashion show begins at 4:30 p.m. and the shopping spree kicks off at 5:30 p.m. with a brief inspirational rally with cancer survivor Krista Colvin.

During the shopping spree, one raffle ticket will be handed out for every $10 spent at participating downtown Camas shops and salons. The raffle prize drawing will take place at about 8:30 p.m.

Ten percent of shopping receipts will benefit the Pink Lemonade Project, a local nonprofit that supports women who are fighting breast cancer.
