COOPERSTOWN, N.Y. (AP) — The voice of the Dodgers is returning to the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown next summer for the hall’s 75th anniversary.

Vin Scully has joined the lineup of special guests for the Aug. 2 celebration concert. Scully will record the introduction and opening segment of the concert, which will include the Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra.

Scully joined the Dodgers before the move from Brooklyn to Los Angeles for the 1958 season and will broadcast the team’s games for the 65th consecutive season next year. He received the 1982 Ford C. Frick Award, given annually by the Hall to recognize excellence in baseball broadcasting.
