Clark County educators build digital library

Seven Clark County educators are among 92 in the state chosen to help develop the Smarter Balanced Digital Library, including instructional materials and assessment practices aligned with the Common Core state standards for English, language arts and mathematics.

Local teachers who are part of the State Network of Educators are Rachel Karlsen, Battle Ground Public Schools; Damen Hermens and Debra Schneider, Evergreen Public Schools; Shannon McCombs, Hockinson School District; Chrissy Free, Vancouver Public Schools; Penny Andrews, Washougal School District; Kari DeBower, Woodland School District.
