Letter: Who’s minding the district budget?

Published: September 23, 2013, 5:00pm

In regard to Vancouver Public Schools Superintendent Steve Webb’s need to bathe after a brutal day in the yard, I say good for him. What is even more amazing is the fact that so few persons in the entire school district knew anything about his private shower installation.

I mean, really: $4,000 of taxpayer money will not be missed. Enjoy that shower after working and running and going to meetings and stuff.

The arrogance of this district is only exceeded by the inability of anyone willing to take responsibility for this waste of money. Will we also be responsible for the soap?
