Conference to explain benefits of ‘telehealth’

The Clark County Commission on Aging is hosting a free conference on telehealth.

Telehealth refers to providing health care from a distance using technology. The conference is an opportunity to learn about how telehealth can benefit Clark County residents.

Telehealth is a strategy of the county’s Aging Readiness Plan.

The conference is from 7:30 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Oct. 2, at PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center’s Health Education Center, 400 N.E. Mother Joseph Place. The conference is free but registration is required.
