Five Star Momma wins Belmont feature

NEW YORK (AP) — Five Star Momma romped to an 834-length victory over Superior Sarah on Thursday in the $72,520 allowance feature for fillies and mares at Belmont Park.

Jose Ortiz rode the pacesetter to her first win in seven tries this year and third victory in 14 career starts. A 4-year-old trained by Jena Antonucci, Five Star Momma ran the six furlongs in 1:09.38, paying $4.70, $2.90 and $2.60.

Superior Sarah returned $3.20 and $2.60 and Brown Eyed Nance paid $4.20 to show.
