ATLANTA (AP) — New England defensive tackle Vince Wilfork left Sunday night’s game against the Atlanta Falcons on the opening drive with an apparent right ankle injury.

Wilfork, a five-time Pro Bowl selection, was listed as questionable to return.

Wilfork walked off the field under his own power. He was injured while going against Falcons center Peter Konz and left guard Justin Blalock, appearing to turn his right foot while trying to pressure quarterback Matt Ryan from the New England 1-yard line.

The Patriots are 108-31 in Wilfork’s 139 regular-season games.
