Hockinson school child screenings offered

Published: April 1, 2014, 5:00pm

The Hockinson School District is looking to set up appointments for child development screenings for future students this spring.

The screenings are open for children ages 3 through 5 who haven’t entered kindergarten. The tests assess a number of key areas, including hearing, vision, and social, cognitive and motor skills.

Appointments are required for screenings, and the results are confidential. The district encourages parents to call 360-448-6415 to schedule a pre-screening appointment first.
