Vancouver woman wins $50,000 in state lottery game

Hazel Dell — A Vancouver woman won $50,000 on a Washington Lottery scratch-off game and says she plans to spend part of the money on her family, a Disneyland trip and laptops for her grandchildren. Frances Delaplaine bought her winning ticket while shopping with her husband on March 22 at a local 7-Eleven. She told lottery officials that she plays lottery games three to five times a week but has only ever won small amounts until now.
