Clark, Mt. Hood split baseball DH

The Clark College baseball team split a doubleheader Friday against Mt. Hood Community College.

Clark won the first game at Kindsfather Field 4-0.

Travis Eckert threw a seven-hit complete game, improving to 4-1 on the season. The sophomore from Austin, Texas lowered his ERA to 1.02.

Boyd Lainhart went 4-for-4 and Spencer Ramsey homered for the Penguins.

Mount Hood won the second game 2-0.

Clark is 3-3 in NWAACC play and 13-7 overall. The Penguins’ scheduled doubleheader at Mt. Hood on Saturday has been moved to Monday.
