Letter: Never any good news circulated

The Columbian
Published: April 10, 2014, 5:00pm

So now we are being warned about our tax returns. People are stealing the refunds — all they need is your Social Security number. What is wrong with people? How do you keep yourself safe? I get so tired of hearing all the negative things coming at us, and there doesn’t seem to be anything anyone can do about it. Doesn’t anyone have an ounce of decency left?

Now they are talking about the big earthquake that could come up here like it went to California, and now there was an 8.1-magnitude in Chile — it never ends.

Isn’t there any good news anymore? I think they just want us to be so scared all the time.
