Northcrest celebrates 20 years

Northcrest: The Northcrest neighborhood, in central Vancouver, is celebrating the 20th anniversary of its neighborhood association this month. The mostly residential community formed a board in 1994 for volunteers to help promote activities and awareness of issues in the area. The neighborhood association will celebrate the anniversary at its April 24 meeting at 7 p.m. at Northcrest Community Church, 5602 E. Mill Plain Blvd., Vancouver.
