Fundraisers net in excess of $15,000 for parks, recreation

Marrion — Two St. Patrick’s Day fundraisers put on annually by Shorty’s Garden & Home brought in more than $15,000 for the Parks and Recreation Foundation of Vancouver and Clark County. Around 1,000 people came out for both the St. Paddy’s for Parks and the St. Paddy’s for Kids events, which featured food, music and other festivities.
