PORTLAND — A missing Ford Model A has stumped Washington County detectives.

Reginald Graves reported one of his classic cars as stolen in July. Since then, detectives have searched for the 1931 coupe, to no avail.

Graves says he couldn’t afford a Model A until he retired. Now, at 74-years-old, he’s managed to collect four of them.

Graves says the cars remind him of his childhood in rural Oregon, when loggers and mill workers drove them in the 1940s.

Now Graves claims to be the “most-photographed man” in the Portland metro area for driving in his distinctive vehicles.

Washington County detectives have turned to the public for help finding the creme brulee-colored vehicle with a spare tire mounted on its rear bumper.
