Sunnyside group may give drug test kits to parents

SUNNYSIDE — A social services organization in Sunnyside is considering giving parents drug test kits to take home and use on their children.

Sunnyside United-Unidos is a coalition of businesses and government agencies that focuses on drug and gang prevention.

The Yakima Herald-Republic reports the board will decide whether to distribute test kits at a Sept. 30 town hall meeting at the Sunnyside Community Center.
