GRADUATIONS

Ulysses D. Foreman has graduated from the Army Reserve Officer Training Corps Leader Development and Assessment Course, also known as “Operation Warrior Forge,” at Fort Knox, Ky. Upon successful completion of the course, the ROTC program, and graduation from college, cadets are commissioned as second lieutenants in the U.S. Army, National Guard, or Reserve. Foreman is the son of Ulysses D. Foreman of Vancouver and Henrietta Gassion of Gary, Ind. He is a 2010 graduate of West Side High School, Gary, Ind.

ADVANCED DEGREES

Lieutenant Colonel Robert Wooldridge has graduated from the U.S. Army War College at Carlisle Barracks, Carlisle, Pa., and earned a master’s degree in strategic studies. The college is the Army’s senior educational institution. He is currently serving as Deputy Commander with the 223rd Regional Training Institute, Camp San Luis Obispo, Calif. He has served in the military for 20 years, and is the son of Robert Wooldridge of Battle Ground.

BASIC TRAINING

Air Force Airman 1st Class Paul R. Amaral graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas. Amaral earned distinction as an honor graduate. He is the son of Kristen Dahl of Kelso and Dean Amaral of Longview. He is a 2008 graduate of Kelso High School. He earned an bachelor’s degree in 2010 from Washington State University, Vancouver.
