LYNNWOOD — Lynnwood police say an officer broke the fall of a distraught woman who jumped from an apartment balcony.

She didn’t hit the ground with full force Sunday evening but was injured and taken to a hospital. The officer was not hurt.

Police had responded to a call that the woman in her 20’s had threatened to kill her baby and her boyfriend because she believed her boyfriend was unfaithful. The man and the baby were unharmed.
